I'm wondering how many of you have went to go look at a 4runner for sale and rolled up in a 4runner yourself? How about the other way around? Was it better than yours? Worse? What did the other owner think of yours?

All the time, go to buy parts or another taco/4runner in my runner or double cab and people usually like em.
I've found some badass ones too buying parts. Recently was a 95 3RZ 5 speed Tacoma that was cab swapped to an 01 double cab and kept the 6 foot bed. Was undergoing a swap to 3/4 ton Ford axles.

Being I own 5 3rd gens. I will occasionally look for a few parts mobiles. The last 2 were too good for me to strip. My original plan was to use them for parts. However, I have to save a few from my area from being destroyed. Most are beyond saving now. Somehow I lucked into another 2.

Most of the 4Runners I have or have had have been towed or driven to my shop. Of the ones I drove to look at one was a customer's with a rusty frame and he wasn't home when I checked it out. The next one I drove my wife's 4th gen over to look at it. The owner worked at a Toyota dealership and he thought the leveling kit in it made it look almost cool. The last one was a 92 Toyota pick up and that guy liked my runner a lot even though he was a Jeep guy.

I'm really surprised that no one has had an offer on the spot... There are some sweet rigs on here. Honestly they are all pretty sweet.

I am missing a 1996, 1999, 2000 and 2002. Lol. Most of mine are 1997, 1998. I guess just how it worked out.
