Buying AVIC-Z1

I'm going to buy the avic-z1 and all the toys with it over the next few weeks (xm navtraffic, ipod connector, camera) and am starting to look at the dimensions...
I know the dimensions for the z1 unit are 7 x 4
I just measured the JBL 6disc unit I have and the dimensions are 8 7/8 x 4

This comes to almost 2 inches difference...

I'm wondering if someone knows the dimensions of the scosche double din trim and will it fill up the space?

I don't know if the Scosche dbl din kit will fit JBL system, call the guys at AutoBacs in Stanton, CA (I posted their number somewhere in my Z1 thread). They'll help you out. Ask for James, he done many installs in 4Runner's before. They did an amazing install for me.

Why don't you wait until the Bluetooth adapter is released before you do your install. Do it all at once to save installation costs. It should be release in the next month or so, I hope. I couldn't wait, so I'll have to pay for XM NavTraffic and Bluetooth when they arrive.
