Buying LEDs Issue

I am planning on doing the LED conversion mod on my 2000 limited. I know which and how many bulbs to buy thanks to 4-Ripcord's excel sheet he made. I was looking at v-leds but I cannot seem to find #24 bulbs or see where their neo-wedge bulbs differentiate between A & B. Do they not carry the correct bulbs anymore? If not which website to people reccomend more autolumination or superbrightleds? Also, I noticed some of the white bulbs are 5k or 6k. Which do people usually buy. Thanks

I use superbrightleds.com quite a bit. They have the 24's. As far as the neo wedges go, when I converted the leds in my civic, I just bought 5 bulbs of each 3 sizes because I was having a hard time figuring out which was which.

fun_runner I've been wanting to do this for years...but always worried about the hyper-flash!! Is there a specific LED to buy? Or do you add something that stops the hyper-flash??

Thanks for the help...

Yeah...that's what I'm worried about...that would drive me CRAZY!!! I've read or heard somewhere that there is something you add to your lights or certain LED's you can buy to prevent the Hyper-flash!

I'm hoping someone will chime in and help us out! Dirtyfingers how do you put up with the Hyper-flash?? Have you ever been stopped by the police for it?

There is a relay you can get I think but I really don't know. I've searched my eyes out for it.

To get rid of the hyper flash, just got to autozone, or probably any other parts store and ask for a flasher compatible with leds.

Edit: AZ part # EP35 <-- That will take care of your hyper flash. :thumb3:

Thank you kind Sir! I know what I'm spending some of my Christmas money on...lol!! LED's here I come! HaHaHa!!

I was on the fence about buying led bulbs. Due to the #24 bulb confusion. I read this thread and ordered yesterday from superb right led.

Maybe i missed it but it looks like you guys are talking about replacig the gauge lights, which does nothing to make lights hyper flash. Thats when you do led tails and turn signals. Which the ep35 is correct to fix it. The gauge cluster lights wont effect anything.

The OP started out talking about gauge lights, which I didn't know at the time. So, I guess I owe him an apology for hijacking his thread...Sorry! I thought he was asking about turn and parking LED's...this shows how much I know about this subject. Anyway, I then asked how to prevent the "hyper-flash"!

And you are correct...that's what fun_runner advised we needed, was an EP35 Flasher. I'm going down to buy one today $12...then I will start buying my LED's. I looked them up yesterday...WOW, they can be expensive! The turn LED's I want are $14 a piece and the parking ones are $25!! Heck that's over $90 with shipping! So it will take a while to buy theses...I'll be buying them one set at a time!
