1st vote!! Normally I would say matte, but machined and the black outer ring on silver I think might be pretty Bad A

NV Matte black!

Those NV wheels would look awesome and I think I've only seen one kinda/sorta picture of one on a 4th gen 4runner.

NV | Matte Black Machined Face is by far the right choice.

The other wheels could be anything. Pro comp, Mickey Thompson, Rota, American Racing, whatever. But the Matte Black / Machined Face is very distinctive.

You know what to do.

Thanks for the feed back guys, Ive never been a huge fan of black wheels although they are growing on me; black wheels need to be done right or it looks terrible IMO. That is why I like the machined look of the NV. Casper421 has a good point I think the NV's are a little spoke happy.

my friend has the NVs. Only word of caution is the visual bead lock, holds water. Even after driving the water doesnt escape. I've even tried to loosen the beadlock, its one piece so thats a no go.

My new favorite method wheel is the new Mesh design but it has to be above 17 to look right.

IMO black wheels only look good with certain colors and silver is one of them. If I have a silver 4r, I would definitely go with black wheels. If not black then gunmetal or anthracite.

Out of the options given, I like the "Standard" version of the one LTDSC posted the best.

Defo looks good. I didn't know that about the NV holding water. Eh, I don't think I could rock the fake bead locks anyway. I love the look, but the fakeness of them bothers me a bit.

theres nothing "fake" about methods, they're built for a purpose. Strong, lightweight and nice design. They cant legally produce a beadlock rim so its their only thing they can do. But calling anything Method produces "fake" is a far stretch.

OK. Simulated beadlocks then. I think they look sick, and I don't need the hassle or function of real beadlocks, but I definitely wouldn't want some that held water.

Truth be told I really like the ones I picked in the poll... And I didn't say I wouldn't rock them, but I don't know if I could be happy with them, and that's a fair amount of money to second guess from the outset. Never seen a pic of them I didn't like though.

Here's mine. Dawg4runner also has a silver truck with same (Standard) wheels. Love em. They are not nesrly as dark (black hole) in person. Pics don't do justice.

I have the standard and not the double standard. Got them for $175 shipped each. PM for details.

You will need special lug nuts for method wheels due to the size of the opening around the slot. OEM won't fit.

Method actually does produce a line of beadlock wheels that are very similar to these models but with a true beadlock. They look badass but they give a warning that they shouldn't be used for street/on-road purposes.

I run the NV's and I love them, I do tend to get water that will sit in the lip created by the "streetlock" design but it's nothing a quick wipe with a towel wont take care of.

Have had my NVs for a year, no problems with them. I also get a bit of water just inside the rim edge but it's not an issue even in winter.

I still think they look sick ! I get alot of comments on them, the ladies like em for some reason :)

Alright guys, thanks for all the feedback. Even though the heavy favorites where the all black, I have decided on the black/machined NV's.

I am still on the highway quite a bit and I think the black and machined look will look a tad better for my eyes, but will still give a tough appearance.

I will post pictures when I get them installed.

Don't lie, it's because that was your first vote and comment :clap2:
