Buying new SR5 sooner then later

Hi, My wife and I have been searching for a few weeks all around CA. for a new sr5, 4wd, 3 row seat, back up camera, crossover cargo bars, blizzard pearl are the main things we want. It has a few extra things too.
We are not sure if we are getting are money's worth. Looks like out the door with tax and licence we are around 36,900.

It is difficult to give you a definitive answer because OTD cost has little to do with knowing if you got a good deal, at the very least OTD becomes tough to decipher.

How close are you to invoice? In SoCal you can get easily get $500-$1000 under invoice. Find invoice at New Cars, Used Cars, Car Reviews and Pricing - Edmunds.com. CarBuyingTips.com new car buying guide, avoiding dealer scams, new cars, used car buying is a great resource for new car buyers.

Have you spoken to many dealers? My advice is to ask the internet guy this exact question, "how far back of invoice can you go?". Exact, word for word.

Don't pay for TDA, Dealer markup, Rustproofing, etc. Doc fees should be $50-80.

One more thing... watch out for the finance person. This is where buyers relax because the dealing is done, or so they think. The finanace person will bend you over if you agree to anything they try to sell you; gap insurance, ext warranty, window etching, etc. Even if a product is worthwhile, you can get it cheaper by 40-70% from another source.
