I have a 2001 Runner SR5 and wanted to get some Nitto Terra Grapplers A/T 265/75-16, my stock are 265/70-16 and I am wanting to keep the same rims for now, however I'm not sure how these tires will look with the rest of the vehicle stock and how they will fit . . . any pics or suggestions? By the way i plan on adding alot to this truck, but im just now getting started.

I'm getting my TerraGrapplers on Wednesday in the same size you want and I have the same wheels. I've seen this exact setup on another '99 and I really like the look of the Nittos and everybody and their mom doesn't have 'em. :)

The wheels you have are from the '99-00 Limiteds but did they carry over one more year?
It also seems to sit higher than other stock '01s ('01-'02s sit an inch lower due to shorter springs) so you shouldn't have any rubbing issues.

those became std sr5 rims.

its sitting just like every other 01...

you will have no problems with 265/75s :)

yeah, i had the 265/75 BFG all terrains on my 02 sr5 and they rubbed a little, but it wasnt bad and after 10k they didnt do it anymore! i really like those tires, tell me how they ride as i might pick up a set as a road tire.... maybe

I got my Nittos and these things are just as smooth as the Maxxis Bravo HTs they replaced and they look sweet. I just renewed my suspension with OEM coils and shocks and with the 265/75s I still have a bit of room between the closest point that the tires are to the mudflaps.

So,with your 265/75/16s installed what is the height from the ground to the bottom of your fender flares? I have the standard black plastic SR5 flares and the front is just under 36" and the rear is at 36.5".
I wish I would have been able to afford Bils and PP springs but my budget was tight but I still should have at least done the springs but at almost $370 for just the springs I still spent less on the OEM springs AND shocks.
