Buzzing sound when shifting from R to D

My 2011 makes a brief buzzing sound around the steering column/gauge cluster when I back up, stop, then shift to Drive. I have not experienced anything similar in other vehicles, so I assume this isn't normal in a 4Runner, either. If anyone has heard something similar or can give me an idea of what to check I would appreciate the help.

I was thinking about it this morning....I have heard the same noise every morning when I back out of my drive way, stop and then shift to drive in my T4R. But I also heard it in the Honda I owned before the T4R.

I think it's traction control turning on because you are not coming to a complete stop before shifting into drive. Try backing out of the driveway and coming to a complete stop before moving into drive and let us know if it's still happening.

Thanks. I'm definitely coming to a full stop- tested that just now to be sure. Still could be traction control, I guess, since it makes that noise just after I start to give it some gas.
