I have been using synthetic oil since 1975 with very good results. Now I want to take oil filtering up a notch. So, expect a post from me after my 2004 comes in regarding the installation of:

It seems that after an engine gets 150,000 miles on it, the oil gets dirty faster. I want to forstall that event in my new V8 4Runner al long as possible.
Do any of you have experience with bypass filters?
BTW: A number of new cars and motorcycles now come with synthetic oil. My KTM manual requires synthetic or the warranty is voided. The conclusion regarding dino vs synthetic has been resolved some time ago.
