I guess it was about time I started to make one of these, been lurking around the forums for a while now and finally started "building" so I figure I'll start documenting my progress..

Here she was when I first got her..

At that point all I had done was removed the running boards, the chrome SR5 flare strips, tinted front windows, and K&N drop in

Few months and 18k miles later, I started to hear a clunking noise from my rear drivers side that's when I noticed that my rear shock had broke off its bolt and was just rattling in the rear everytime I hit a bump.. so that's when the mod bug bit me

After doing research on the different shocks, springs, tires, browsing through build thread after build thread I finally decided I was going to take the route of TRD front springs and OME 890s in the rear with Bilstein 5100s. (Couldn't be happier) I researched and followed Rickashay's thread and ordered the lift through the links in his thread. Soon after decided I was going with the BFG MT KM2s.

Nice work, but those pieces of wood under the jack stands scare the crap out of me. Get some 6 tons and you won't regret it. I'm looking forward to the finished results!

Looking back at it now it probably wasnt the best idea but it got the job done, I know.. bad to say

Hindsight is always 20/20! Rig is looking good. Love seeing new, shiny parts on there. Now get them dirty!

I agree. Get some new jack stands orrrrr go to home depot and get some wood cut in 1' sections and use a lot of gorilla glue, like so:
