C vs E rating

I am getting the Firestone Destination MT. There are 2 options:

255-75-17 C rated 32.1" 111/108 2035#
265-70-17 E rated 31.9" 121/118 3195#

Price is about the same. I prefer the pizza cutter idea. I don't anticipate carrying any major loads, but I always ran E rated on my heavier Land Rover Disco.. So will the C rated be ok, the load rating just seemed so low?

The load rating relationship may not be exactly as you envision. If you like the 255, I see no reason not to get them.
