Look for lines running along the drivers side frame rail. Also, search KDSS threads and you'll see pics if the KDSS "shock" attached to the sway bars fore and aft which will help you identify having it or not.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but is $550 cost (before shipping and discount) for one slider, or for 2?

That is the cost for a pair, Left and Right side.

On a side note what is everyone doing for coating the sliders ? Paint, Powder coat, linex ? Any preferred method and approximate pricing ?

Most people get them powder coated, in my opinion it lasts the longest and it does not affect fitment of the product. We do not recommend Line-x or a similar product. Rubberized coatings are typically very thick and they will affect the size of the mounting holes and also affect the fitment of the product to the vehicle. If you are set on getting them coated with a rubberized coating, make sure that the frame mounting plates do not get coated at all! You will want to use only paint or powder coat in those areas.

@c4fabircation just wondering with people that paid, how long will production take?

Current production lead time for our products is 6 weeks. The first orders on the list will probably not ship any earlier than that time, but its possible. We are still working with the laser cutting company to finalize the costs and timeframe for getting them to help us process all of our sheetmetal parts and some of the tube parts. If all goes well with them, it will greatly speed up our assembly time once we get started building the GB sliders.

We have no way of confirming anything by VIN number. Your best bet would be to call a Toyota dealership for that info. Really all you need to do is look to see if there are a bunch of small metal pipes and some large steel boxes and brackets bolted to the side of your frame rails under the doors. If so, then you have KDSS. If your frame rails are just smooth and empty with nothing bolted to the side, then you do not have KDSS. Dealer also recommended checking out warning lights on the dash when starting up. May take a couple tries but that's how I identified it on mine (before getting on the ground and checking it out).
