Cabin air filter - which one?

Need to replace mine but not sure which one to get off of amazon? I called Autozone to see if they had one in stock (they didn't) but gave me the part number for some filter that's $20. I though they were relatively cheap?

I get mine off amazon.com. I usually get the ones with activated carbon, not sure if it makes a difference or not. I've bought the Fram fresh breeze but most recently bought 2 of the EPAuto CP846 for $8.87ea.

I also order mine from Amazon. Last one was TYC 800005P. It is only $6.70 each.

Last time I changed it I used the FRAM CF9846A Fresh Breeze Cabin Filter from Amazon ($14). It somewhat restrictive and cuts down the air flow, and I can't say I notice any better filtering. Next time I think I will try cutting up a furnace filter!

I got a few off ebay - dirt cheap, 4$ for a regular and 7$ for the carbon activated - just gotta deal with slow shipping. We're kinda limited here up north in Canada so amazon doesn't stock as much as the US, but they should have it on amazon.com for very comparable prices.

I go with the standard non-carbon filters in the summer when I need the most air flow and use the carbon filters in the winter when air flow isn't such a big deal to me. I usually buy them all off amazon unless I find them cheaper in town.

I was thinking the same thing, bought this filter and it does feel like it's slightly restricted.

I usually buy them off amazon for less than $10. Going to have to try using the house filters next. Sounds like a good idea.

FTW. Just add scissors and 2 minutes of your time. Recognize increased economies of scale if you have multiple vehicles that need filters.
