Cabin air filter ?

I just ordered the cabin air filter for my '05 4R from Amazon (this one to be exact). It fits perfect, but looks like it's not as rigid as the stock one. I guess I'll see how it stands up. Anyone try this one as well?

Stands up? Do you plan on keeping it in there for more than a year? If not, the paper/flimsy filters will do fine. I change mine about 2x/year.

I cut my own filters using a standard 20x20x1" home A/C filter (I get the nice Filtrete ones) and cut them myself. It may be a bit of a pain measuring and stuffing it in there, but I think it's worth the extra 5 minutes of work to save a few bucks. Plus you get a decent quality filter, who knows what the OEM garbage really is......

Its a great and easy mod that saves you $10-20 every change.
