Cabin Filter - Dust & dirt from Vents!

1989 V6 - I don't know about every one else, but when I turn on my fan, there is this initial burst of dust and dirt that flys out of my vents. Last time I turned them on a piece of something flew in my eye! So now I have to remember to turn the vents away from my face when I turn them on.

I have noticed that the inside of the Truck gets dirty\dusty fast... which would make since if there is no filter on the outside air coming into the cabin vents. Is there any filter that is available? Maybe it is just me? Does anyone else have this problem. Is there a solution...?

my 4runner has a cabin filter behind the dash. it needs replaced and is falling apart when i touch it. but i can see it in my 85 cuz it currently has no dash stuff in it. but right behind the glovebox there is a filter. you might wana check for it. and replace it or install if you dont have one.. if you want a pic or two i can post em up.
