Which is your favorite all inclusive resort in Mexico? Location and hotel..

well ive been to puerto and cancun. Two very different experiences.
When I went to cancun in 2006 it was for spring break, fill in the details yourself. But the resort I stayed at was all inclusive, named Sunset Royal. It was super nice and the food was amazing. I vowed when i travel to stay at an all inclusive resort every time. Just to be able to eat and drink whenever, whatever, it was worth the extra expense.
My trip to puerto rico was also amazing. I was there this past May for a week and I went with my sis and her two kids, my nieces. Totally different experience, we decided to rent a house. It was on Vieques Island, on the beach. It was well worth it, the only draw back was not being able to eat or drink whenever, basically I was the only one who cared about that, my sis has never stayed at a resort. It was nice because we had the chance to actually feel what it was like to live there. In the real elements, the house was on the beach but at the same time it was in a neighborhood. We had to go to the local grocery for food and drinks. We rented a jeep to drive around wherever we wanted, and I toured the entire island, which was fantastic.
I also traveled to Jamaica, Montego Bay, I stayed all inclusive there also, at Sandals. The only thing I would compare to staying at a resort or renting a house (at this time anyways) would be the fact that your more independent at a rental house. At a resort you have to go by their schedule, take the tours they offer, and eat on their time.
I know this may not answer your question exactly but you asked to share an experience. Out of the two resorts I was lucky enough to experience I would have to say Sandals was the best.
