CAI From '03 4.7 To A '05 4.7

I have a friend who is getting rid of his CAI. He has an '03 T4R 4.7 and wanted to know if I wanted it. I have an '05 T4R 4.7.
I know the '03 & '04 4.7 is different from the '05 - '09 4.7.
I looked on a dealers site and there are different part #'s for the '03 and the '05 for the K&N and the AFE.
My question is how different can they be? I'm sure the CAI from the '03 will fit on the '05 but there may be some different vacuum lines or some other connections.
Anyone know?

They should be the same, But i wouldnt put all faith in me saying that, ask him if you can test fit before you buy.

Wasn't it in 05 that the 4runner got vvti? If so, my guess is it's different based on that.

Yes, vvti in '05, thats why i'm wondering if there are some additional vac lines associated with that or some other connections.
