I just flew into LA and am staying up north of Ventura. Drove here via the newly re-opened 101 which goes directly through where the Woolsey fire was. It's crazy. Everything is scorched.

I grew up in that area, just moved away a few years ago, there have always been fires, but this is just ridiculous.
