Caliper hitting 6 star 17" rim ??? Rim swap 5 star 17" to 6 atar 17"

So yeah.. Tried putting some new to me 6 star 17" rims with pretty new winter tires only to find the damn thing was hitting the front caliper on right side.
Now i have to leave one 5 star 17" rim on until this can be figured out or i put a grinder to the caliper.. Grrr!!!

Anyone ever experience this nonsense?
