caliper size on a 16" wheel..

Hey all.
Does anyone know if a 231mm caliper(upgrade caliper) will fit under a 16 inch wheel? I asked about the 17" wheel,for my build, but i think i will have to change to order of progress thats why i am asking. I think this question was asked once before, but i cannot find the thread..
