Calipers, rotors, pads oh my!

Well, here we go again. Another pair of frozen calipers have ground out my front rotors and prematurely burned out my rear pads. So, merry Xmas to me...new EBC Ultimax, slotted rotors, napa calipers & EBC greenstuff pads (6000 rear, 7000 front). I know the calipers are probably the only weak spot on our T4rs, but every 25k miles....come on. Hopefully the new napa calipers will be better.

What is the warranty on the NAPA calipers?
I recently installed a set of calipers from Advance Auto and they told me the lifetime warranty should cover seizing, however they sure don't look as nice as your NAPA ones as they are re-manufactured.

The Napa's have a lifetime warranty. They are remans; however, instead of a coat of oil to keep from rusting in the box, they have a painted finish (I think). From searching the forum, napa seems to have the least amount of issues.

So far I've only got about 125 miles on them, barely bedded in. But, they're a vast improvement over my previous set.

I've just replaced my OEM's....second pair and they only lasted 24K miles. Slapped on a new set from NAPA with lifetime warranty....171K on the truck now so ...we shall see!:bluejump:
