BTw, what size are you talking about?

Nittos have really gone up. When I got mine over 2 years ago, I paid $120/tire with mount and balance. :biggrin2:

Falls said:I called GY SA Wrangler today to get a price on the LT "C" rated tire and with mt./bal. out the door $995.00 inc. tax.
Sheeeeezzz to much ching for those.
Falls said:You are correct , when you hit the 18 mark the prices really jump. I remember back when 17's came out replacing the 16's and those were big $$$ too.

I feel like there is hope out there somewhere. probably by the time gas is over $10 a gallon, 18" rubber will be under $200 a peice for decent off road tread
MikeinCincy said:I want to get the same tires in the 265/70/17 size (P-rated I guess). I called a local tire shop that is probably the most popular in my area. They are called Tire Discounters (not Discount Tire) and they quoted me at $1,118.00 for 5 GY SAs. This price includes: Allignment, lifetime rotation (every 5,000 miles), lifetime balancing, lifetime guaranteed valve stems (not exactly sure what this means), and nitrogen inflation. What do you guys think of this price? I know it sounds a bit high at first, but I was wondering if you guys think it's a fair price given what's included.
MikeinCincy said:Thanks for the write-up Joe. I have yet to go off-roading, but would like to sometime in the future. I'll probably end up getting the P-rated because if I offroad, it might only be like once a year.
Falls said:I personally off road quite a bit and am pretty hard on my truck , but my P rated Revos took a few MAJOR hits and have been fine , just was not a fan of the off road and snow traction. The GYW SA "P" rated is supposed to be pretty tough so you probably won't have an issue.
MikeinCincy said:I hope not. Have you gotten your Silent Armors yet? I won't be getting mine for a little while, but am pretty excited for when I do.
