Ha thanks! As much as I would like to come we are going to stay home and she is cooking right now.:trophy: Maybe on the next get together I can make it! Sorry :cry2:. Somebody drink a beer for me!!!

Can't say that I blame you....hard to beat a good home cooked meal!

Josh, will meet you outside around 6:30.

Ended up having a great meet on Friday, even though it was just Josh and I. We ended up deciding on a last minute trip to Superlift ORV Park in Hot Springs. It was our first time there, it was a lot of fun and the first time I've done anything quite like that. Here are a few pics from the trip. We'll try to get more planned in the coming weeks/months.

It was a great time! I'm very busy over the next several weeks so I probably won't be able to do much. Did you ever get the Tundra brake upgrade done?

I'm shooting for getting monthly meets setup on a routine so we can all plan (i.e. second weekend of every month). What would work best for you guys?

Yea ended up twisting llennium's arm and got him to help me! I also got some new meats! :hungry:ended up getting the 265/75-16 Mastercraft Courser AXTs. Made in the same plant as the Cooper AT/3s for $100 less!

And yes I would be open to once a month or once every other month.

How about we try this again, August 24 or 25? Meet for dinner one evening and discuss potential options for a wheeling trip in September/October. Any takers?

I think that weekend would work for me.

Great!

Does anyone have a preference on which day? I'm open both days. Also, any suggestions on a location? I'm new to the area and not familiar with too many places. If there are no suggestions, I'll randomly pick somewhere in the Little Rock area.

Count me in in for the once a month thing. Would have come to the last one but the last couple weeks of work have been crazy.

Well hot damn, this place is alive after all!! No one told me about this thread... You don't want me in your club? :(

A gathering would be fun. Keep in mind there is the Southern Cruiser Crawl Oct 11-14. Lots of people will be out there. Some come join us even if it's just to hang out. Maybe I or whoever can lead some of the not so beefy rigs on a trail or two. I probably wont be doing much offroadin' until then. Tires are in too rough of shape and I need them to last till I got the money for new ones!!

and oh yea, My name is John aka "Waldo"

This may be a dumb question but where is the Southern Crusier Crawl at? I'd love to go to that! Sounds like a good time to me!!
Byrd's Adventure Center which is here in Ozark, Arkansas right on the Mulberry River hosts a Rocktoberfest every year. I believe it is October 26-28 this year. Just another option.

Im Mike BTW

The SCC is at Superlift. It is sponsored by CottonLand Cruisers in Mississippi. There is usually an awesome turn out. You can check the Main Website for more information. They also have a forum section on IH8MUD

I haven't been to Byrd's yet, but I heard the 4x4th of July turnout was awesome. It sounds like a very cool place and I hope to get up there some time.

Hey John, glad you found us! I know you're on TTORA a lot, I was going to post a link there to this thread but didn't want to infringe on the AR TTORA chapter. Would love to coordinate some events though. I'll admit I'm a total newb to the off road scene, so a lot to learn from the more experienced off roaders.

I'm still planning a meet and greet in Little Rock on August 24/25. Hoping to get some plans together for a trip then and will definitely try to coordinate a trip/meet for the SCC.

Sorry to have missed all that last month. Just moved back to Arkansas from Houston. Next time you guys get together let me know and I'll try to be there. All I've done so far is some old roads in the Ozark NF, wasn't that great so I'm looking for some spots to wheel a little bit. I'm still pretty new to it but have a good time getting out there and seeing what the 4Runner can do.

Emails?

How about if we send out emails? I am also planning to be in Little Rock sometime soon. If we can go for a day out and do some wheeling followed by a dinner/beer at a local restaurant would be great. Weekend is the best for me. I have to drive 4 hours to Little rock.

My email : [email protected]

I'm down, wish it would cool down but either way I'm down. Haven't found many places to ride around LR. There's a place in Sherwood called Highway 89 Raceway, looks like the closest legal thing to LR. Superlift is fine with me too, anything is really.

And my email is [email protected].
