Superlift ORV Park Hot Springs this Sunday 8/24/2014

Hey guys, I'm new to this thread. Bought my 2011 over a year ago, but just joined this forum and the ranks of a T4R customizer earlier this summer.

Here's my info:
1) 2011 4Runner SR5 4x4. 3" lift & tires/wheels. See signature for details.
2) Little Rock
3) Yes

I'm headed to Superlift for my first offroad adventure this Sunday with a Tundra friend. Let me know if you'll be there, too.

David

Welcome! I don't think I've seen your truck around yet, but sure I will at some point.

Welcome to the forum, good looking Runner. How'd the trip to Superlift go?

Thanks guys. I had a great time at Superlift!

WAS going to take it easy, stick to the 1's and 2's. Ended up on 3's much of the day, scratched up all four new rims, hood & front quarter panel, and right rear near exhaust, but all minor and LUCKY nothing worse. Here are a few pics.

Don't know if I'll be hitting this baby that hard again until I get some skids/sliders and about 50,000 more miles. But had a blast!

@Paisano, beauty of a truck you have there. It's just what my Runner wants to be!

Thank you! I just looked at your pictures from Superlift. Those scratches and dents are getting your 4Runner broken in. Unless you're holding out for resale value just keep going wherever you want!

I noticed you removed the running boards by the time of that trip, are you leaving them off?

Haven't introduced myself yet. I have an '86 4Runner that I am trying restore, wheel, and DD. Finishing up a timing chain on it now then gonna wheel it. Spring of '16 we will be heading west on the Trans American for 10 days. Spend most of my time wheeling with the CA-ORC guy. I am located in Little Rock.

Revival!

It seems this thread is experiencing a good ol' Southern Revival!

Shout out to ARK_SWAMP_RIDER...you still with us here in AR? Are we still meeting at the pizza place in Maumelle on Aug. 3rd? What year? ;)
Paisano, I just saw your reply-post asking about my Superlift visit & nerf bars. Yes, I did remove those "damage-enhancers" for offroading. They're purely functional for my wife & kids to get in/out, don't belong on my rig but can't justify replacing them with sliders at present. THanks for noticing!

Welcome to those that have just joined this AR group, even if you've been in AR or had your Runner(s) for longer.

I'm up for a meet anytime, would love to schedule a little crawling/mudding sometime with ya.

Is this the same red 1st gen sometimes seen on Mara Lynn? I've definitely seen that one.

I will be at the Maumelle pizza place 8/3 as well.

Really I am up for driving around sometime, a meet or a trail or whatever.

I'm in as soon as I get it back together Paisano I am not sure where that is so probably not. It has a big CA-ORC stick on the back and some beer stickers on the side. Kind of my obsession.

Ok that's not you then. I'm behind on beer stickers I think I only have one!

What is CA-ORC?

Central Arkansas OffRoad Crew. Good bunch of dudes. I am a fan of the craft beer so I either buy stickers or hats if it is good. I have to many, according to my wife.

AR Group

Hey all, Ive been on and off the site for a bit now and just found this thread.

06 limited with some stuff.

I am looking for info on a custom shop for a rear bumper. I got rear-ended the other day and it might be time to upgrade. (thankfully nobody got hurt)

I would enjoy meeting up for trail runs and such but have a crazy busy schedule. All work and no play most the time.

Im in Hot Springs and drive to Jonesboro a lot.

If anyone has recommendations on a fab shop for a rear bumper let me know. Thanks.

Chris

Good to see you made it to AR, Chris. Hope all is well... aside from the rear bumper. I've heard good things about these guys. They're in Fayetteville, a few hours from Hot Springs. Contact | Backwoods Bumpers No first-hand experience with them, however.

Kyle,
Thanks for the info. I'll give them a call.

If anyone knows of a shop in Central AR it would be great too.

Thanks everyone.

Chris
