I just picked up my 2005 4runner Sport Edition 4WD...Anyway I'm going to put my system in the 4runner.. I'm looking for any tips and tricks you guys have found by doing the installs yourself.. I would also like to know if there are any Metra Kits (Part #) and Metra wiring connectors (Part #). Below is what I have:


Kenwood Excelon KVT-915DVD Mobile Audio/Video
Kenwood Sirius Tuner
Eclipse PA5422 85X4 RMS
Eclipse DA7232 1200X2 RMS 2 Channel Mono Amp
Eclipse (2) SW8122DVC (Might be upgrading these to the SW9122 Ti's)
Diamond Audio M661 Components
Diamond Audio M361I Coaxials
Eigervision 7 inch High Def Lcd's

Metra does not have anything for the 4runners on their website, but this does not mean there is not a kit out there. I would either stop by your local audio shops or even call Crutchfield to see if they have gotten them in yet. Some times the audio shops have a Beta version so they can test it's fitment out. Have you considered Scosche? In the Suggested Mounting Location thread Davisc23 has the part number for the in dash kit.
I found a part number for dash kit from Metra 99-8206
And for the wire harness 70-1761
Says it is for 03'-04'
