You're only partially correct. Factory steel wheels are lug centric, with a larger concentric hub tolerance. Factory alloy wheels are hub centric, with a very precise concentric hub tolerance.

When did they start installing the newer style? The 2002 still has the old style?

I did not have this problem before the boss lift. Does it still make sense that it could be the rack guide?

Is your rack guide a recess hex for an allen wrench or a hex for a large wrench? Try tightening it a bit. The problem after lifting these rigs is the tie rods are angled which causes the rack to move up and down when turning the wheel.

Is the newer style. I'm going to put on old wheels and tires this weekend to rule out balancing issue then I will try to tighten this a little. Thanks!
