thieves love to break those quarter panel windows because its less obvious to people driving by and less likely to set off the alarm. Toyota use to offer a glass break sensor (which I installed on my 2012 tundra) that was plug and play to the toyota factory alarm. It literally was a mic that would set off the alarm if it recorded a high pitch sound from INSIDE the vehicle. It worked well. If you tapped your keys against any glass surface your alarm would go off. I don't know why they don't offer it for the 4runner, but they offer it for the tundra.
Anyways, as someone mentioned, I bought rago fab's MOLLE panels not to attach stuff, but to deter people from breaking those windows. I think its enough of a deterence or at least it makes me sleep better at night.
I use to run one of those brake petal club thingies on my old car, and they worked well. Only reason i stopped using it, was because I ended up damaging my interior panels when taking it off. I think i accidentally put a hole in my seat, a huge scratch down my center console because those brake pedal immobilizer clubs have really sharp edges......not worth it due to my own carelessness, and the fact that the odds of someone breaking into your car to steal your car are very low (more likely to be a target of smash and grabs, light bar and rim theft).

What about the glass on the rear hatch? They can still break that :shrug:

Thought about looking into kill switches at one point too. Never really did though.

A little less likely, given its a lot more visible. They may also break the window at night not realizing there are Rago Panels on the window and then panic/run once they realize.

So does anyone use a kill switch? Or how about a kill-thief, electrically charged steering wheel? :faint2:
It's interesting that that tool you linked is called a steal man 7...
I park my T4R in my garage at night. The only place a thief might come back to is at work. That's possible but not as likely as if I parked on the street at night.
I'm happy to say I live in a state where carrying a gun for this kind of eventuality is not an option. The laws are so tough on having a gun with you that it's not a viable option (legally).
No offense meant Chris, but if you think removing a flat tire that's sitting on bricks is easy, give it a try. The tire will only flatten until the weight is on the bricks and it's still jammed on the ground. Besides, I prefer to use wood blocks. They're easier to stack until you get them at the right height.
Yep cali is a liberal dump, i'd never step foot in that state. As for flattening the tires, you didn't understand me. Put the bricks under the axel, let the air out of the tires, no weight on the rim, it's all on the axle. Wheel and tires come off 1-2-3
