Cam shaft timing marks?

Does anybody know on the camshaft spockets at TDC is the one dot together or two dots together?

I was talking about the Camshaft timing marks inside the cylinder head, where the Two camshaft spockets line up together on one side. But thanks though.

First of all thanks fopr your help.

That's what my chilton's manual says but, I could of sworn I took it apart with one dot together. If I put two dots together then the timing belt sprocket won't be at TDC, it will be upside down. I'm scared to install it wrong because I've seen Broken valves and rocker arms before.

The Chiltons manual also says that I have a 5VZE engine without the intake manifold and DOHC. I don't get it. This shit is pissing me off. In the chiltons it again, shows the 3VZE with the intake and SOHC. WTF?

I have been thinking about this alot I will never take apart this motor again. F this truck's design. the Timing belt tensioner OMG remove the Brush gaurd and the A/C motor are you kidding me!

Dont forget, one cam is a spring loaded cam gear. If you take them apart you need to put in a bolt that holds them together. If you dont, you need to 'reload' the gear and install a bolt. If you put it back together without loading the gear, it will make all sorts of racket and will be out of time

thanks, I did not know that. Can I do it after I install the cam? Do you know how the timing marks go?

No. You need to load them before you install them, then you can remove the bolt. They should have the 2 dots aligned I believe. I always mark my cams with white out before I remove them so I dont need to try and remember how they went
