camelback toyota

so, who here has bought parts from them, and they made a mistake with the order and then didn't want to rectify the error? i have bought plenty from them.
i bought a part that is supposed to come with another. i called about it and was told that toyota stopped selling the parts together in 2008 but their site still lists them as an assembly. they told me that their 3rd party company that handles the site has not updated the info for parts. ok. so how is that my problem and they want me to pay extra for the part that i should have received to begin with?

They seem to be very popular here on T4R. I tried to deal with them but they would not ship to an address other than what was attached to the credit card. Sorry, I am not leaving expensive stuff by the door while I am at work. But, they charged my card after I cancelled! They eventually credited it back to my card but the entire episode got me to write them off. Toyota of Dallas gets my parts orders now.

try metro toyota out of Kalamazoo, Mi. ive bought thousands of $$$ worth of stuff from them and they ship where you need it. it says they ship within 5-7 days but i never waited longer than 2 days to get from there to SC.

i looked on metro and they only go to year 2005. am i supposed to call them for older trucks?

Camelback Toy is awesome. You can buy wheels/tires AT COST from them. I'm getting Duratrac's 265/75/16 for $163 a tire from them very soon. Stupid cheap.

That's a very good price. Too bad they aren't local or all dealers aren't that cool.

Call dude and ask. Mount and balance is ~$11/ tire. Better than most.

It was my birthday on the 3rd =D

The only issue I ever had with camelback was when I bought UBJ's and they sent me UBJ's.... Attached to spindles.

That would have been cool, had I needed spindles. And had both the spindles been ABS compatable. But I didn't, and they weren't.

Called and they basically said you're welcome, peace out. Luckily the shop I took it to was like Double you tee Fudge and was actually able to press the UBJ's out without ruining them. I bought them some beers for that feat.

I use Toyota Parts Overstock online. With them I can view full exploded views of all assemblies without having to contact the dealership for OEM parts. The nice thing about being able to view exploded assemblies is that most of the time I know what I need but am not sure of its exact name.
