Camping at Vogel SP (GA) and GA TraverseTrail in June

Greetings everyone.

I live in the Florida panhandle, and my family and I are long-time fans of GA state parks, Vogel in particular. I have been trying to get my wife on board with the idea of doing the GA Traverse Trail, camping along the way, but she's not too enamored with the idea of bouncing around on the trail all day, and then not having at least a hot shower at the end of the day. She suggested a 3 to 4 day camping trip, basing out of one of the parks (Vogel, Amichola Falls, etc) and doing some trail riding each day--but returning to the park at night. We'd also like to check out as many of the waterfalls in the area as possible, and probably do some rafting in Helen.

Unfortunately, due to my work schedule, the only time I can fit this trip in will be June 18th through the 22nd, which is Sunday through Thursday. I know a weekday-camping trip is off the table for most, but if anyone is interested, we'd love to have some friends at the campsite, as well as on the trail. We're not tied down to any day(s) in particular to do anything, so if anyone has 'a' day they want to hit the trail, I'm in.

As Floridians, my family are also huge fans of the GA state parks. Might have something to do with them being the closest mountains. We just got back from the Amacalola area last weekend and drove a lot of the forest service roads and hiked. We are planning and going back to the Helen area at the end of July. Hoping to try some portions of the GA traverse around then.
