Camping in san mateo area

Hi all. I am visiting my son in august. He lives in san mateo.

I am looking for campground that will accommodate my runner and 20' Rpod trailer.

More trees and separation from neighbors would be best.

Any recommendations?

dont know if they allow trailers at coyote point recreation area. but along the 280 theres a rest area, dont know if u can stay there.
try trailer villa in redwood city.
half moon bay for francis beach campground, little up north on 1 and you can reach pillar point rv park

Butano and Big Basin State Parks

a bit south bout totally worth it. Absolutely amazing redwoods and near the beach as well. Youll have to check availability though..

Which one are u referring to that is a bit south but totally worth it? Coyote point?

Theres 2 of um. Butano And Big Basin State Parks. I like Big Basin out of the two..
