Good news! I just put in my new 05 Camry NAV system (from oemvalue) in my 05 4Runner and it works great!!! My brother-in-law owns his own car audio store and helped me put it in. Per Troy's (oemvalue.com) suggestion, we went with an aftermarket amp instead of the Camry amp because of the way the Camry amp makes the back speakers louder. Other than a stripped screw just below the A/C controls from the factory, the install went relatively well.
Now, I need help figuring out the XM Radio side of it. We were going to put the XM Radio tuner in this weekend, but the cable harness he had for all 98-05 Toyota's, didn't fit any connector on the back of the NAV unit. Does anybody out there know which connector on the 05 Camry NAV unit you are supposed to connect the XM Radio to? This will complete my install and make me very happy!!! Thanks in advance!!
