Hi, I did the valve cover gaskets and while doing so, on the d/s front lobe of the cam, there was no shiny chrome or whatever it is plated with, only copper, it wasnt worn didnt feel any grooves, but is this a sign of a future failure (do the valves need to be adjusted based on the condition of the cam)
or has it gone too far already?
Also, I changed the spark plugs and quite a few of them looked like they have been overheated, (white redish color) anyone have any suggestions on what this could be from? Also the plug electrode itself had been flattenned /mushroomed (been about 30,000km since last changed)
Also does anyone suggest the NGK plug wires?
