need part number or replacement bolt/nut for
where the lower ball joint connects to the spindle. there are 2 bolts/nuts per side. i went to the dealership and got a bolt way too short to clamp the parts together.

center of the pic is the huge bolt.

my bolt/nut is seized with slack between balljoint and spindle... so it clunks every time on braking/ forward to reverse/ bumps/ etc.

They likley gave you the correct bolt. There is not supposed to be a bolt/nut there. Its jusy a bolt and the spindle is threaded.

I assume at some point it was drilled out and the person used a nut/bolt. You could helicoil it and make it like OEM, or cut the bolt off and head to the hardware store and find a new nut/bolt.

That's not the correct bolt, that actually looks like a cylinder head bolt, though it appears a bit short (Toyota doesn't really use a 12-point head on their bolts for much else really).

It should be something like a M12 or M14 both with a 17mm head if I remember right, I don't recall the thread pitch or bolt length off the top of my head though.

It appears that the other ball joint bolt also has a nut on it ? Something is "fishy" with this setup. These should be threaded and a thread locker used when installing these lower bolts. No nuts are used. Unless this is an aftermarket spindle or BJ ?

You're right, that spindle is welded not cast like the factory ones are. [MENTION=45382]liqourish[/MENTION] Is that an aftermarket lift spindle?
 
these are camburg spindles with 4 in lift
[MENTION=66389]BlackWorksInc[/MENTION] the bolt and nut that clamp the lbj and spindle is siezed, but the clamping force isnt enough to stop the parts from popping.

Yeah that's going to be the issue to deal with, if those are aftermarket did they originally come with different hardware or did they want you to reuse the factory bolts? Because if they use different hardware, ordering factory bolts won't do anything to help.
