King Shock Rear Install

Installed my rear King shocks on my 08' Sport this weekend and the only way to get it installed was to bend the hose to the reservoir. Anyone else run into this? Anyone see any issues with this?

From photos I've seen from other installs, the hose is always straight. As far as the shocks the themselves, I believe they are the correct ones, at least according to the box they came in.

But...the sticker would be covered. Would the shocks still work without the bling?

Seriously though, that's what I did. Also make sure the shock is positioned so that the resi connector is pointing as far forward as possible to take up a little more slack.

Wherever it ends up just make sure that line isn't touching anything else or is well supported with P clips where it would rub. I rubbed through a resi line early into a long trip once and lost a few days sourcing a compatible replacement.

[MENTION=130999]Inv4drZm[/MENTION] that's what I did originally and the clamp was on the very end of the reservoir. Wasn't comfortable with that position.

[MENTION=117708]blackoutt[/MENTION] that did cross my mind and so far not seeing any rubbing. Getting bigger tires installed today so I'll be sure to check again.

Thanks to all for your input. Glad to hear I wasn't the only one with this issue. Thought maybe I had done something wrong during the install and just couldn't figure out what. I'm going to reach out to King for their input since I have seen this install on a 4th gen where there is no "bend" in the line.
