Can I buy just the clear plastic part of the headlight?

I noticed one of headlights is fracturing weird spider webs running threw it. Probably was weak since I baked them opened and painted them.

I only need one side, was wondering if anyone just sells the lense?

This prompted (reminded) me to look around because I was curious about this. Right now it doesn't look like you can. In my brief search I found entire assemblies for around $115 at a place like PartsTrain.com - Hard to Find Auto Parts and Truck Parts all the way up to $220+ at some dealer websites.

I may be motivated to try the lensgard through weathertech now.

what year is your 4r? that 03-05 headlights are pretty inexpensive compared to the 06-09

I wondered the same thing about a year ago. I researched then and the answer is NO. Depending on your year 4R, you can get aftermarket OEM-like headlights on ebay for cheap (less than $90 for both).

That's classic I think that's the same ones I bought before, looks like that's the only way to fix it. Damn me for baking and painting brand new headlights then having them crack later:ybrick:

yea i have been looking to do the headlight upgrade but mine also has spider web cracks in it, doesnt really bother me but i dont want to buy brand new lights and crack them when i black them out. especially since they arent cheap

Same thing happened to me when I baked some Depo headlights, I don't think the lenses on aftermarket lamps are as strong as OEM lamps. I don't think any aftermarket lamp will hold up to baking.
