Can I tow a Lexus LS430?

Friend needs his car towed about 900 miles. I have a 2000 4runner 4wd. Any chance I could tow it on one of those uhaul trailers? I seem to think the total weight woudl be too much. It is a one time thing one way only.

Total capacity is 5,000 lbs, so I would say no. Not to say it couldn't be done...but it would put quite a strain on your truck.

I would pass on that one. Even if you calculate everything to within specs of the weight limits, those limits have been exaggerated. The engine, transmission, cooling, suspension, and braking systems would not handle that load well

by 3 AAA gold accounts, $50 bucks each, use the 3 tows for free @ 100mi

cost of towing truck 900 mi=$150

the down side it will take 9 days....... you have them tow it the first 100mi drop it off chill for the night push it down the road a few blocks and call them again for another free 100 mi tow alternate accounts till you get home.

i did this with a vw bus that had no motor one time......


it may just be worth shipping it via freight carrier, i think that trip may only be like 300-400 bucks, lord only knows what a tow truck driver would charge.....
