Can I use EP moly grease on all the drive shaft grease zerks

I got some of this stuff for my 4runner drive shaft because they are filthy. I read that Toyota reccomends 2 different types of grease for the job.

Does it matter if I use this stuff on both zerks?

Also mine are covered in old road grime, what is the best way to clean it? I'm currently using some degreaser with mixed results.

If you use a Lithium base chassis grease, NLGI No.2 you'll be fine.

I think any grease is better than no grease but I could be wrong.

I've been using Valvoline Synpower grease (has Moly) on all the zerks on 4 successive Toyota 4WD vehicles since 1998 w/o issue. The important thing---as I understand it---is that it be NLGI #2 thickness. Interestingly, the link you provided didn't specify NLGI #2 in the specs. It probably is, because NLGI #2 is the most commonly used automotive grease weight.
