Hour of searching later I am posting for answer.

I have appointment on moday to drop 05 off for lift / rims / tire install.

Lift: toytec 3" front 2" rear

Rims: 18X9 / 12mm offset / 5.47backspace.

Tires: 275x65x18 Duratracs.

I just want to know ahead of time before any surprises that the wheel offest is not going to be an issue. In my head I am hoping they fit flush with body, maybe a little past?? Can anybody please confirm how these will fit?

Thank you all!

Yea those will be about flush. You should not have any issue with them at all with that lift.

My wheels are 18X9 +25 with 265/65/18s. Yours will stick out about 1/2" further than mine.

You get that installed yet? I'd like to see some pics! I'm trying to decide on wheel width and offset stuff.

I'm hoping to be about an inch farther out than stock with an 8 inch wheel.

What you're looking at is pretty close to what I used to run. You didn't state above but is the offset +12mm or -12mm? Prior to my current set up I ran American Racing ATX Artillery wheels which were 18X9, -12mm offset, 4.52" BS. The tires were Cooper Zeon LTZ 285x60x18. 3.5" lift in the front and 2" in the rear. I had to trim the front fender liner and part of the mud flap. When turning with slight flex (backing out of the driveway), the tire would rub the body mount. The tires stuck out beyond the fender by maybe 1/2".

My current set up is with Method Race Wheels, 17x8.5, 0 offset, 4.75 BS. Toyo Open Country M/T's 295x70x17. They sit pretty much flush with the fenders.

Posting here too in hopes of getting someone smarter than me to answer...

Would the same backspacing/offset work on a 17" wheel?? I'm looking at a wheel with the following specs...

17x9 +18 offset, 5.71 backspace

I would like to install 265-70-17's on it as well.. I have a 2/1 lift.

Thanks! Want to order soon!

With that size tire, you'll be ok. However, if you ever plan to change out to 285s, you should go with less backspacing to avoid rubbing the UCA. You'll probably still need to trim some of the liner, but for the most part you will be fine.

Sweet. Yeah, I won't be going to 285. I'm sticking with 265. I'm mostly worried about the upper A-arm I think it is? Seems like there's only really about 1/3" between my sidewall and that little nub that sticks out.

What offset were you in these pictures? Can you also post me some pictures of your current wheels and state their size/offset? maybe with some pictures ? :) thanks!

You should be fine and sitting similar to stock sr5 or sports 17s.

If you plan to get a wider tire, it will most likely rub.

I am currently running 20x9 0mm offset with 265 tires. And it sits flush flush.
