Can someone Diagnose this Noise

after replacing my o2 sensor today i decided to look under the hood and check all my fluids. I checked the brake fluid and can anyone tell me if its suppose to be a dark almost black color? maybe a bleed would be good right now..

anyways with the car in the garage and my head under the hood i could pick out a very very small noise. like an air leak noise almost. it was so quiet that you could not hear this if it wasn't parked in a garage with no ambient noises.

the noise was coming from this piece

then i isolated the noise down to this area:

so i pulled one of the tubes out and noticed the noise was gone...attached the tube back and the noise came back. i put my finger over both ends and no noises...

can someone tell me whats goin on?

That's the evap system. It's part of the smog control. If there is a problem with it you'd have a code set in the computer. Have it scanned. The auto parts store may do it for free.

Black brake fluid is normal for these. Bleeding won't help. I completely replaced the brake fluid on ours and it was black again in a few days. Also it did not help the feel of the brake pedal which is spongy. These things just have crappy brakes. It's the nature of the beast.

but yes, i did have a code it was the P0133 which was the o2 sensor i replaced, the code hasn't cleared yet, but someone told me to go ahead and reset it with the battery.
is it possible for codes to be "stored"? like 2 or 3 codes with 1 CEL light?

Yep. Common. When ours had a bad A/F sensor the cpu stored 3 codes for that CEL.

ouch..i hope the only code behind my light is the o2 sensor. if i clear it manually and go to autozone and get a scan..will anything pull up even though the light isnt there?
 
Ideally, the brake fluid should be clear.

You will have to wait and see if it comes back on to read it again.
If the light doesn't come back on, you're golden.
