Those chrome finished grilles do not hold paint. LineX might stick to it, otherwise I would try to get an unfinished plastic grille to start from scratch. I've had 2 chrome grilles painted by 2 different people and each one chipped within a few months. Color keyed looks the best if you have stock bumpers imo. Is your rear bumper already matched?

well actually only the sides of my rear bumper are painted for some reason thats what the last owner did and they are peeling already..and i hate chrome and i would like to color key them but i would rather line x them one time and be done with it you know? and plus my brushguard i am picking up saturday already has line x

so i painted my rear bumper yesterday with the herculiner and i will be doing the front one tomorrow..i also picked up my brushguard on saturday i love it.i will get up pictures as soon as i can get my hands on a camera
