Hi all... my 99 4Runner's clutch squeaks like crazy whenever I push it in.
Sound is coming from under the hood, at the fork/pivot point.
Can it be fixed?
I bought the 4Runner used a few weeks ago. The dealer lubed the pivot point, but it started squeaking again in a few days.
The noise is annoying, but doesn't affect performance. My mechanic said it's not doing any harm.
(My 96 Corolla made the exact same noise for years... some times it was worse, depending on the weather)
