Can the blend door be adjusted in the HVAC?

Like the title says, does anyone have any experience with having the blend door adjusted in the HVAC system on our 5th gen (or any gen really) 4Runners?

It's getting bitter cold out, and while my heater is great I don't like the position between the split-level and the floor. Let me explain: in split mode, the air is coming out the dash vents and the floor vent in roughly a 50/50 blend. Obviously, floor mode moves all the air to the floor.

Now, the selector position between those two is supposed to bias the air flow towards the floor but leave some coming from the dash vents. But when I select this position, it leaves very little coming from the dash. I would just like a little more, that's all.

If this could be adjusted it would be a perfect blend for me.

I know, first world problems right?

Bump for a solution to this. I have the same issue on mine.

Modifying the blend door position is likely impossible. You could select dash and floor and partially close the dampers in the dash vents to achieve the desired effect. Perhaps a little ocd but whatever warms your boat...

Every time I see the term blend door I have flashbacks of stripping the dash to the firewall in my Grand Cherokee to replace them, only to have them fail again two weeks later.

Thanks for the replies. I kind of thought it would be something I'd have to live with.

I was checking it out yesterday and there is almost no difference between the vent output on the dash in floor or "less-floor" mode.
