can you help turbo making whizzing noise no towing power

Hi ppl can you help ? i have a toyota 4runner 3.0l td on a 94 plate , the turbo makes a bad whizzing noise and when towing it struggles to get upto 45mph :driving: and drinks fuel like no tomorrow ? turbo even makes a bad whizzing noise when not towing :nono:..... does anybody know of any faults and easy fixes cheers Jay

The reason your not getting any responses is because you've posted in the New Members section. I notice your a new member, but if you are posting in relation to your vehicle, you can always create a thread in a vehicle specific thread, to give your posts more activity. Good luck!

The bigger reason is because we don't have diesels here in the US, and most of our members are in the US.

But if you start another post in the Classsics section (84-95 trucks) someone may respond.
