Can you lock rear diff in 2wd?

Limited99

Need a little help here. I have a 99 limited with the rear diff lock. It only locks when in 4 wheel low. I k iw that's how it's supposed to work but I would like to be able to lock it when I'm in 2wd high. (todo some nice donuts in the mud/snow) I know there's an ecu that controls it but I'm wondering if anyone knows how to safely by pass it so that it locks when in 2 wd. Please let me know if you can. Thanks.

Search here and google for "grey wire mod".

*Disclaimer*
Your wire might not necessarily be grey.

not called a gray wire mod all though its the same basic idea just diff wire to be cut your looking for a blue wire with a red stripe now ground the wire going to the plug gonna need some extra wire to find a spot to ground it too

hey does this disable the speed auto off feature on the locker as well? i don't think i like the idea of doing 75 + with my locker on by mistake lol

this wont disable the 5mph saftey now by that i mean if ur going like 10mph and try to lock it nothing will happen but when u do lock it it will work at any speed
