That sounds WAAAAAAY to good to be true. And sorry no, I don't recognize the email. Previous T4R.org member?

I was looking at a 1996 LC before my 4R. It was MINT with 38k miles and in the Indy Cars.com listing.
I emailed the lady.
Her first reply reeked of a scam, so I played it out.
The following are just bits of the conversation:
Her: "The car is actually in Honolulu, Hawaii and I have been relocated through work to San Fransisco. The price I have listed includes all shipping costs...."
Me: "Small world, I actually have some buddies still stationed in Honolulu from my Navy SEAL days. We've spent a lot of time on the islands when we weren't overseas. I've talked to them and they agreed to take a look at it before I commit. Also, I'm actually going to be in Sacramento next week to give a 3 week FBI training seminar, I would not mind driving over to San Fransisco to do a face to face transation, if you'd like."
Her: "I'm relieved that you work for the FBI, it means you are trustworthy and gives me peace of mind. The face to face transaction would not be necessary, as I have a Fortis Escrow account arranged already. The truck is in Edmonton Air Force base, in Edmonton, Canada, so I have utilized the Fortis account as they are Canadian, you will have 10 days after delievery to inspect the vehicle before the transaction is final...."
Me: "You told me in your last email that the car was in Hawaii, now it's in Canada? If you're going to run a scam, you should try to keep your facts straight. Look forward to a knock on your door soon..."
