Canadian new to forum, old to toys

Hi all, just joining in from Calgary area... I've had many old FJs, a 1st & 2nd Gen 4Runner. I wheeled in western & central Canada, plus areas in the NW US.

I've been into ZJs & XJs of late (Jeep guys will know what I'm talking 'bout)

Looks like I'm finally buying a new 5th Gen and will be commencing a build right away on it. I think toyota is finally back on track again. The FJ revived the brand, but unfortunately doesn't fit the bill for most of us with kids & dogs in tow.

As usual, things in Canada come late, from off road parts to summer weather.

I'll be looking at an ICON lift, Mojave or XD rims, KM2 rubber, new rack, full skids, sliders, and when available, bumpers / winch.

You've made a wise choice to come back to Toyota!

I hear ya on the Canadian lateness, frustrating sometimes. Moreso the prices and shipping it takes to get things here.

There's a bunch of guys from the Calgary area that get together. Started out Taco driven but open to anything Toyota (other brands too really) with a few FJC's and Runners' also. I can pass on info if you want.
