There's a BIG difference between being "forgotten" and just not being widely known. My bet is the few who knew this soldier won't forget him, and the depth of their feelings, respect, love and admiration are a LOT stronger than the fleeting idol-worship of some pop star.

the point I was making is, when a drug using pop star dies, its national news, flags were flown at half mast, for a drug user that overdoesed ?? but when a member of our military dies for our country, no one seems to care, it doesnt even make the news.

It's cool--I totally understand the point, I just think instead of "forgotten" the pic should read something like "never reported" or "no public tribute". I agree, it IS tragic when those who are really making a difference pass without anyone outside their circle ever knowing.
