Haha I'm really bored and been looking at some things, right now I can only afford one or the other. And I can't decide which, eventually I will be getting both. But I can't decide which one to get first:

Should I get a remote start with an alarm or an amplifer?

Both are the same price.

I need the remote starter to warm up the car in the mornings while I'm still getting ready. Not to mention the key lock is nice, and the alarm is nice for when I get my system.
OR
Should I get an amplifer? It'll be the first step towards my new system which I will be getting as soon as I get the money.

I can't decide haha! help me!

I would say keyless entry/starter would be practial.

would you be hooking up the amp to stock speakers and stereo ?

Well it's just the first part of my system, basically, should I get my audio system first or should I get my key starter first haha, along with the amplifer, I'll be getting speakers very soon after the amplifer.

NV, Have you decided on the components in your system yet? Which sub, amp, speaker combo? I still have the factory alarm on my limited -I don't know if yours came with an alarm- and I have my system -2 Audiobahn 12s / 1000 Watt Kenwood Amp / Pioneers in all doors / and my Kenwood Head Unit- I did all the install myself and saved a ton! i would suggest gettin all your ducks in a row and planned out to the last wire and then start buying -I know it takes forever, but once it's all together, well its all together lol- hit me up and I'll see if I can help you out-

And i have rewired my subs since the pics and you can't see any wires... Plus they hit hard... real hard...

Yah. I've got all my components and stuff set up

Going with a kicker kx550.3 - need to save money
JL XR650CSi - 6.5 components
RE SE 12

Pretty cheap system at like $800 or so. I would love to be able to wire everything myself, but I highly doubt I'd be able to do it.

ummm, what amp are you thinking of getting if it is going to be the same price as an alarm with remote start???? That's like 450 beans minimum, usually 500+ where I live, anyway.

Go get the alarm and remote starter now.

sure... if i can wire it- anyone can... it aint really that hard at all... let me know and i'll see if i can help ya out... and save you some money
