Ok so last week my truck would start and rev to 1200 rpms and die out.. So I cleaned maf, and iac!!! It has new plugs and wires bout month old... So now I don't have that issue but now it idles low at 500 rpms and fluctuates between 500 rpms and 800 rpms.. This is intermittent and is driving me bat shit crazy!! I don't wanna take it to the stealership to get fixed!!! Can my iac be bad and still run? Will it make it runs like this? The flap inside the iac moves freely... Any of you old school heads on here I need some advice.. I have been searching threads but can't find exactly what my turd is doing.. Thanks guys...

The IAC can be bad and the motor can still run. Mine was stone dead in the cold idle state and the symptom was an 1800 idle all the time. Replacing it with a new one ($75 on ebay) fixed it.
If you want to rule out the IAC, pull it and test it by running 12v across the terminals (positive on the middle, negative to one side then then other.) Like this. It should respond to the voltage. If it doesn't, it probably needs replacing.

Did you remove the IAC from the TB when you cleaned it? If not gunk can get stuck in it and affect idle speed and performance. It's hard to clean it thoroughly even if you do remove it. You can spray TB cleaner in it and use a Q-tip to get up inside it and clean. Spray some compressed air through it after you have it clean to dry it out. You'll know it's clean when the Q-tip comes out white.
I don't think the flap is supposed to move freely inside the IAC. I think it should only open and close electrically.

Maybe a vacuum leak? I'd make sure that the IAC is sealed tight against the TB.
