The amp for the JBL system is in the rear cargo panel (passenger side). It's right next to the OEM sub.

i know that but im trying to put a new head unit in so i can install my subs and everything but i cant seem to find the little silver box that im suppose to disconnect the wires from so that i can use my wiring harness

See post in your other thread. I've installed two aftermarket head units in the last month into. 4th gen 4runners, what you're looking for isn't needed.

You have to get the amp integration harness to use instead of regular toyota harness. If not you will have to run wires to all speakers or do amp bypass back at the amp in the rear. You may be thinking of the older tundras where you unplug the two harnesses from the silver box and used those like you would a regular toyota radio install.

Wiring diag

Was wondering if you knew how to wire with the dual inputs or what the colors mean? I know this is an extremely old thread so crossing my fingers.
